Pete is a family man and a community advocate. When he’s not enjoying outdoor activities with his family, helping to coach a youth baseball team or finding the next problem to tackle in the Omaha community, he’s helping his clients with their insurance issues so they can spend more time with their families.
Pete has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including managing the marketing of various insurance programs throughout the Independent Agency System for a 12-state region. He combines his knowledge and background in the transportation industry to help identify potential exposures and to provide cost-effective solutions. His specialization in the transportation industry allows him to focus on his customer relationships and to stay current with issues that impact his clients.
Prior to becoming a retail insurance agent, Pete developed his property and casualty knowledge working for insurance companies. He gained valuable experience in claims handling, underwriting, product development and marketing during a 13 year period.
Pete is involved in several professional and civic associations. He previously served a two-year term as President of Merrymakers and still remains an active board member. He also served a two-year term as President of the 1752 Club of Nebraska, a recognized group of insurance marketing representatives. Pete is an active board member of Westside Community Foundation and he previously served on the board of Nebraska Land Trust and Champions Run.
Pete holds two insurance designations that include a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM).
