Kirk has always had a strong desire and passion to see people succeed. As a former classroom teacher, he understands how important it is for each client to be treated as an individual whose situation may differ from other clients. That’s the reason the Associates in the Entrepreneurial division at SilverStone Group work so hard to develop good relationships with their clients — because you can’t really help someone until you know the challenges they face.

Kirk views each day as a new opportunity to earn the right to do business with his valued clients. The Entrepreneurial Team works with a variety of small- to medium-size businesses and each engagement requires expertise, strategies and risk management solutions tailored to the client’s individual needs. Dealing with multiple clients requires a team of organized and efficient professional to assist with the array of tasks and questions that come up on a daily basis. The Entrepreneurial Team prides itself on meeting these challenges and offering comprehensive coverage and competitive pricing, along with the outstanding service that clients expect.

A native of Council Bluffs, Kirk has an extensive knowledge of the city and is actively involved in numerous civic projects. He was involved in the St. Paul Partnership Training program, which provided him with extensive product knowledge on a wide range of prospects. Kirk says he is not the type of person who can sit back and read about what’s going on in his community. Instead, he takes a “hands-on” approach, giving back through service on a variety of local, civic, governmental and non-profit organizations.

Kirk currently serves as Board Chair for the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Board of Health and is involved with the Micah House. Kirk also serves on the Board of Trustees for Iowa Western Community College. In addition, he is a member of the Ameristar Casino Advisory Committee, Council Bluffs Rotary, DC Ambassadors, is a participant of Leadership Council Bluffs and is actively involved with numerous advisory committees and fund-raising efforts throughout the city.

Elly places family at the top of her priorities so it should come as no surprise that the number one reason she enjoys working at SilverStone Group is the fact that it is family based. The values and ethics that spread throughout the company come from the top down.

Tim is a fan of teamwork both in and out of the office. He enjoys the atmosphere at SilverStone Group because everyone is so willing to jump in and help get the job done. Many times this includes finding a way to have fun, too! For more than 10 years, Tim has been an essential team player in the insurance industry, with an impressive skill-set including sales, underwriting and customer service in both personal and commercial lines.

Much like the role of a team captain, Tim has the ability to relate to his insureds and understands the importance of providing detailed, accurate information and quick turnaround time. He feels his clients know they are valuable to him and that he will go above and beyond when providing assistance.

Outside of the office, Tim spends many of his weekends with his wife, Shelley, cheering for his step-daughters at their volleyball games. He enjoys watching their display of teamwork in action. Go Team!
