Bob says that his best “out-of-office” days are spent on long road trips with “the guys” on their Harleys. Sounds like a pretty good time.
Now, however, Bob stays busy helping SilverStone Group’s construction industry clients manage risk and mitigate exposures. The Harley gets out less than he’d like (although he admits to visiting Sturgis once in awhile).
With a 30-year career in the insurance/risk management field, 16 with Peter Kiewit and Sons, followed by a post-retirement stint as the owner of a private consulting service, Bob has found his niche — drilling down into a client’s daily operations to thoroughly understand how the risks encountered can affect the organization’s bottom line. And Bob has the experience and expertise to know how best to modify an organization’s risk management and insurance program to lessen risk for construction clients.
No matter what the situation, Bob is ready and willing to help, bringing expert analytical strategies to find solutions that really work.

Jill has a history with SilverStone Group that spans over 20 years. The reason this has been such a lasting relationship? In her words, “SilverStone Group has a great culture. The people are fun, smart, kind and really care about each other.”
The camaraderie Jill experiences within the office she takes and extends to her customers as part of her commitment to client satisfaction. She loves talking to and visiting her clients. Having this type of relationship enables her to really understand their businesses and their exposures. In addition, Jill is also currently working towards a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist Designation to further develop these skills. Her vast knowledge of the industry and her resourcefulness helps her identify solutions for her client’s evolving coverage needs.
Speaking of evolving, Jill has several exciting thoughts for what she would like to do when she someday retires from the corporate world. She dreams of volunteering for the Henry Doorly Zoo or traveling the country working for the National Park Service. Jill is a member of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and currently volunteers at Nebraska Wildlife Rehab. She works and cares for animals until they are ready to be released back into the wild. Ask her about squirrels or baby raccoons. Jill’s next milestone, a cross country cycling adventure. She will drive a support vehicle for a crew journeying from California to Florida!

Gardening is a favorite pastime of Marcy’s. She and her husband spend hours tending to their plants putting in the time and effort to ensure their success. The same diligence is displayed in the way Marcy attends to her clients.
Gardening is a favorite pastime of Marcy’s. She and her husband spend hours tending to their plants putting in the time and effort to ensure their success. The same diligence is displayed in the way Marcy attends to her clients. She feels a true sense of accomplishment when she is able to help them meet their needs.
For more than 20 years, Marcy has been working in the insurance industry specializing in surety. She is responsible for handling contracts, obtaining financial information and issuing bonds. Her goal is to make each client feel that they are important and her excellent communication skills and strong knowledge of surety bonds assist her in doing just that.
Marcy is a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) and the Iowa Notary Association. She is also an Iowa and Nebraska Surety Licensed Agent. Wait, there’s more.
One other area Marcy stays busy tending to is her home. You can often find her watching Nascar with her family, playing with Zoie, their Maltese or chasing around her eight grandchildren. Oh, and cruising! They have enjoyed several cruises and have another one planned for later this year. Never a dull moment.
