Kirk Madsen

Account Executive, Property and Casualty / Enterprise Risk Services

Kirk Madsen has always had a strong desire and passion to see people succeed. As a former classroom teacher, he understands how important it is for each client to be treated as an individual whose situation may differ from other clients. That's the reason the Associates in the Enterprise Unit of the Property and Casualty division at SilverStone Group work so hard to develop good relationships with their clients -- because you can't really help someone until you know the challenges they face.

Kirk views each day as a new opportunity to earn the right to do business with his valued clients. The Enterprise Team works with a variety of small- to medium-size businesses and each engagement requires expertise, strategies and risk management solutions tailored to the client's individual needs. Dealing with multiple clients requires a team of organized and efficient professional to assist with the array of tasks and questions that come up on a daily basis. The Enterprise team prides itself on meeting these challenges and offering comprehensive coverage and competitive pricing, along with the outstanding service that clients expect.

A native of Council Bluffs, Kirk has an extensive knowledge of the city and is actively involved in numerous civic projects. He was involved in the St. Paul Partnership Training program, which provided him with extensive product knowledge on a wide range of prospects. Kirk says he is not the type of person who can sit back and read about what's going on in his community. Instead, he takes a "hands-on" approach, giving back through service on a variety of local, civic, governmental and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as the President of the Micah House, Chairman of the Council Bluffs Board of Health, Treasurer on the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was recently elected to the Board of Trustees at Iowa Western Community College. Kirk is also a member of the Ameristar Casino Advisory Committee and sits on the board for the Iowa School for the Deaf Foundation. Membership in Rotary, CB Ambassadors, DC ambassadors, Leadership CB and numerous advisory committees and fund raising efforts keep him mindful of the importance of helping others.
