Robert Bertrand is a Project Consultant working in collaboration with SilverStone Group to provide assistance in the area of compliance training and support.
Robert has over 25 years of experience in employment law, having provided training on employment issues for the American Council of Life Insurers and the Nebraska Bar Association Labor Relations Section, in addition to various nonprofit associations and Fortune 500 companies. Robert’s experience provides a specialized focus on supervisory employment law, including interviewing and hiring, performance management and discipline, termination and wrongful discharge, workplace violence, employee litigation and discrimination complaints. He is also well-versed on legal issues regarding sexual harassment, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Robert has held a variety of positions in the legal field, including 18 years as Assistant General Counsel in Labor and Employment for a regional insurance and financial services provider, 5 years as Litigator for the Omaha Human Relations Department and 8 years of private law practice.
Robert’s memberships include the Nebraska State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Nebraska Bar Association Labor Relations Section.
