Amy Mitchell

How do you keep up your passion and interest for an industry you’ve been a part of for 24 years? Amy believes it’s by continuing to learn and experience new things. This is something she knows a bit about as she became a mother for the first time at an age when many have already established their families.

Amy specializes in conducting employee meetings in regard to renewals and benefit changes, plan administration and negotiation of renewal rates with carriers. As a Senior Account Administrator, she assists with Small Group administrative leadership and development. This includes new hire training, as well as identifying ongoing development needs and new or better business processes. Amy helps answer client questions about procedural matters, plan provisions, claim issues and enrollment. She finds many opportunities throughout her day to learn more about her clients and the insurance industry.

Her additional experience in paying medical and dental claims is helpful when assisting clients with claim issues. In 2014, Amy was the recipient of the H.H. Red Nelson Excellence in Customer Service Award.

When not at work, Amy spends her free time with her son, Ryan, and boyfriend, Scott. She enjoys seeing her son’s smile and he helps her remember to make the most of every day.
